What are the classification of cable ties?

For customers in different countries and different operating environments, we provide three different material grades.

Class A: Nylon6.6 (PA66)

Class B: 50%Nylon6.6+50%Nylon6 mixed material

Class C: Nylon 6 (PA6).

How to choose the right cable tie?

1. Nylon 66

Nylon 66 has a high melting point of 260 degrees, suitable for high temperature applications. The material has good stiffness, as well as high tensile and flexural modulus, making it a good choice for wear resistance and short-term heat resistance needs.

2. Nylon 6

Nylon 6 has a lower processing temperature and lower molding shrinkage. The material itself is lightweight and has a glossy finish, making it ideal for applications where toughness, impact resistance and surface finish are critical.

As for Class B, it can achieve 80% of the performance of Class A, and the cost is lower than that of Class A.

It is worth noting that some suppliers will reduce PA66 and increase the proportion of PA6 to reduce costs. We don't allow this to happen in our factory.

Overall

The different types of cable ties are very similar, and each has different advantages. In contrast, PA66 has a longer service life.
